RaySat’s flagship product, the Speed Ray 1000, brings affordable satellite reception to the North American automotive market. The eCommerce portal site is the primary marketing and sales tool for RaySat’s entry into the North American consumer car and truck satellite market. As such, it supports RaySat’s dealers and direct-to-consumer sales. In addition to ecommerce, the portal provides state of the art on-line training and certification to its installers, a critical component of RaySat’s North American business plan.
Objectware and RaySat released the first phase of the website in January, 2005 to support advanced orders of the SpeedRay 1000. Objectware continued to work closely with RaySat to determine their changing business requirements in order for the website to evolve along with the needs of a start-up business operation. The newly revised site supports sales and shipments of the multicomponent SpeedRay 1000, training and certification needs, and important back office reporting and repair tracking functions.
