Objectware Partners With Microsoft and Takes Retail Management to the Next Level

ATLANTA – Objectware Inc, an award winning Atlanta Web Design Company, specializing in custom web development, wireless and mobile application, has partnered with Microsoft to offer a Retail Management System (RMS) for independent merchants using PC–to–web enabled technology.
Until now small merchants have had to deal with two different systems - one system for their online store and one system for the physical store. But with Objectware’s customized Web Enabled POS solution these merchants can now combine the two into one, with access to customer information, inventory management and sales reports throughout the entire chain.

Microsoft’s RMS uses the power of sync technology. “We give the merchant the best of both worlds – a centralized repository as well as the ability to work independently on their local POS system,” said Katz. “If there is a problem with the online connection, the PC–to–web enabled process allows the merchant to synchronize the local information once the connection is restored.”
Objectware enhances the system by customizing and implementing a centralized “dashboard” - a unique and powerful feature from which a merchant can view real-time and in-store transactions chain wide. Katz stated that the storefront and online element would become a unified process that is effectively monitored and controlled from the convenience of the merchant’s home computer. “With the dashboard on their computer, merchants can drill down to specific sales, transaction and customer information chain wide.
